ARB Air Compressors

The Benchmark for Off-Road Compressors

Air Up Large All-Terrain Tires

Air Up Large All-Terrain Tires

An air compressor is one of the first serious upgrades any off-roader should make. Airing down before a rocky trail, a sandy beach, or a muddy road dramatically improves traction. Once you air down, airing back up before you hit the highway isn't optional.

Built to Commercial Standards

Built to Commercial Standards

ARB air compressors solve that problem. Built to commercial and industrial standards, tested for leak rate, current draw, and flow before they leave the factory, and backed by a three-year warranty, every unit in the ARB lineup is engineered to deliver air wherever a power source is available.
Run Air-Powered Tools in the Field

Run Air-Powered Tools in the Field

Beyond tire pressure management, an air compressor lets you re-inflate after a puncture repair, run air-powered tools in the field, and keep your rig moving when conditions turn ugly. It's not a convenience accessory. It's infrastructure. Whether you want a permanent onboard install or a portable unit you can move between vehicles, there's an ARB compressor built for the job.

Why Having an Air Compressor Matters

Why Having an Air Compressor Matters

Depending on the types of trails you enjoy, chances are you'll need an air compressor at some point. Airing down before hitting dirt, whether that's rocks, sand, mud, or loose gravel, increases your tire's contact patch with the ground and dramatically improves traction.

Without a reliable air source, getting stuck becomes more likely and getting unstuck becomes harder. A puncture that could've been plugged and re-inflated in ten minutes turns into a spare tire situation. A trail that was manageable with aired-down tires becomes a fight with stiff sidewalls. The longer you spend on a trail, the more an onboard compressor shifts from nice-to-have into a need in your setup.

Built to a Standard, Not a Price Point

Built to a Standard, Not a Price Point

Every ARB compressor is individually leak tested, current draw tested, and flow tested under load at the factory before it ships. That process isn't a formality, it means every unit has a verified performance baseline before it reaches you.

They are all built with hard-anodized cylinder bores to reduce internal friction and extend service life. Our compressor also features Teflon-impregnated carbon fiber piston seals that hold up under sustained use without degrading. The quality is consistent across the lineup, from the entry-level portable up to the flagship brushless twin.

Choosing the Right ARB Compressor

ARB offers a range of compressors across two categories: onboard and portable. It is offered in either single or twin with the option of brushed and brushless motor options available. Here's how they break down:

Air Locker Actuation

Air Locker Actuation

ARB Air Lockers are among the most effective traction devices available for off-road use, but they require compressed air to actuate. Every onboard compressor in the ARB lineup is compatible with ARB Air Locker activation. For builds where Air Locker activation is the only requirement and a full-size compressor isn't necessary, ARB offers a dedicated solution.

Designed specifically for Air Locker activation, this compact onboard compressor comes with a full wiring loom for simplified installation and plug-in connectivity directly to Air Locker control solenoids. It draws low enough current to run off the 12V accessory supply on most vehicles, which means it works on both 12V and 24V platforms without a dedicated circuit. Sealed against moisture and dust, quiet in operation, and built for long service life in a package that tucks away cleanly without taking up space better used by a full-size compressor.
