History
ARB was founded in 1975 by Anthony Ronald Brown, driven by a passion for creating high-quality, durable equipment for 4WD enthusiasts. After experiencing firsthand the challenges of off-road travel through Australia’s rugged terrain, Tony saw the need for tougher, more reliable gear. Working from his family garage in Melbourne, he set out to design and build solutions that could withstand the harsh conditions of the outback—marking the start of ARB.

To ensure our products consistently meet your expectations, ARB invests substantial capital into research and design each year.
ARB’s design and engineering team leverages cutting-edge CAD and CAM parametric modeling systems, along with finite element analysis, to develop industry-leading products. For specialized projects such as vibration, strength, and crash testing, we collaborate with independent experts and top universities.

ARB continues to maintain its position as an innovator in the industry by utilising the most modern, state-of-the-art fabrication equipment and machinery.
ARB meets the demands of modern, complex designs with advanced Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) sheet fabrication technology. Our state-of-the-art production facilities are equipped to manufacture high-quality metal products with precision and efficiency.
Our capabilities include laser cutting, brake pressing, guillotining, CNC bending, machining, and turning. We also utilize MIG, TIG, robotic, and spot welding, along with in-house powder coating and spray painting facilities.
