The drivetrain plays a critical role in how a 4x4 performs off-road. ARB drivetrain components are engineered to improve traction and protect vital drivetrain parts from impacts, abrasion, and heat. Low-traction terrain such as rocks, sand, mud, and snow can limit performance when power is sent to the wheel with the least resistance. ARB Air Lockers provide on-demand traction by allowing both wheels on an axle to rotate together when engaged, helping the vehicle maintain forward motion even when one wheel loses grip.

Because Air Lockers remain fully open during normal driving, they maintain factory handling and steering characteristics until additional traction is needed.

Differential Covers

Drivetrain Protection

Off-road hazards can damage factory differential covers or housings, risking oil loss, bearing wear, or gear failure. ARB heavy-duty differential covers help protect the differential assembly from rock strikes and impacts while adding structural reinforcement to reduce housing flex under load.
