A new Bluetooth transmitter has been developed that allows full-control and monitoring via Android, Apple devices, and even ARB LINX. Now, you can adjust or monitor the fridge freezers temperature and receive an alert when your friend leaves the lid open. The transmitter is included at no additional cost with the purchase of a new Series II Fridge Freezer. This update has been implemented across the entire Classic Fridge Freezer Range? 37QT, 50QT, 63QT and 82QT. Important to note, the size of the fridge hasnt changed. ;

CAN THE ARB FRIDGE FREEZER BE POWERED BY A SOLAR PANEL SYSTEM?
Yes, ARB Fridge Freezers have been tested with name-brand solar panel systems. Please contact the solar panel system manufacturer for a recommended system.
HOW MANY AMPS DOES THE ARB FRIDGE FREEZER DRAW?
Amp draw depends on how often the compressor needs to run to maintain the set temperature. This will be determined by the ambient temperature, how often the fridge door is open, and the contents of the fridge. During optimal conditions, the ARB Fridge Freezer will draw under 1.5A to maintain the set temperature.
HOW DO I POWER THIS FRIDGE IN MY VEHICLE?
Simply connect the 12V plug into your vehicle's cigarette lighter. The ARB Fridge Wiring Kit may be required if the cigarette lighter does not supply enough power.

In the simplest manner, an ARB Fridge Freezer can be plugged into a cigarette lighter, however some vehicles do not provide enough power through these means for the fridge to operate efficiently. It's typically recommended, and more convenient to operate when wired to your car battery. This maximizes efficiency and routes an outlet to the fridge's location in your vehicle for ease of use.
